Post-Doctoral Scientist
The Center for Ocean-Land-Atmosphere Studies
(COLA) invites applications for a post-doctoral position to investigate
why the range of sensitivities of different atmospheric general circulation
models to doubling of CO2 is so large. Initial work will compare CCM3
and ECHAM4.5 AGCMs, and later the CSIRO Mark 2 AGCM will be included.
The work will be supervised by Drs. E. K. Schneider and L. Bengtsson.
Applicants should have the ability and willingness to understand and manipulate
the codes of multiple atmospheric GCMs. A Ph.D. in atmospheric sciences
or related disciplines is required. The position is available immediately,
and is renewable annually for up to three years. Excellent benefits are
