These are spatial maps showing rainfall anomalies for each region/subdivision, expressed as a percentage difference from normal. Choose from annual or seasonal anomalies for individual years between 1871 and 2000.

Based on station data from 1901-1970. Daily climatologies of total rainfall (mm/day) are presented for stations with more than 25 years of data. See animations showing the evolution of the climatological monsoon season!

Single Season Animations of Daily Rainfall
Based on station data from 1901-1970. Animations of daily total rainfall (mm/day) for the May-September period are presented for each year in the dataset. A great way to visualize the evolution of a particular monsoon season.
